Introduction
Allsorter offers two primary editing modes: Preserve Original and Full Reformat. Utilizing either mode, you have the ability to selectively omit candidate information and incorporate your branding to create consistent and polished CVs for your candidates.
What's Full Reformat?
Full Reformat mode allows you to take information from a CV and apply it to your organisation's custom layout and design. This allows you to showcase your branding and remove any biased information while presenting the CV in a unique and polished way that aligns with your company's style. Learn more here.
What's Preserve Original?
Preserve Original is a tool offered by Allsorter that allows you to keep the original content and layout of a candidate's CV while removing any biased information and applying your company's branding. You can even add a cover sheet with custom fields like expected salary or visa requirements to make it easier to evaluate candidates. Learn more here.
Account Details
Some or all templates for your organisation may populate your contact information as a consultant. Ensure these details are correct by accessing the Profile section from the left-side menu. You can also change your password here.

Manage your Organisation
Organisation admins have the ability to enable and disable users, add a new user, and change the account billing details. Simply select Account from the collapsible left-side menu to access organisation management.
View our Account Management section here.
Note, organisation management is only accessible to Org Admins and Managers.

You can upload CVs directly to Allsorter. If using Bullhorn or JobAdder, you can upload directly from the candidate page on the respective ATS.

To the right of the screen you will find the upload area where you can drag and drop or click to upload files.

Navigating the Split-Screen editor
Once you have selected a CV you'd like to work on, you will be brought to our split-screen editor. Here you can select either Full Reformat or Preserve Original, and the template you'd like to use.
Preserve Original
When using Preserve Original the candidate's CV content and layout will be retained as-is, while Allsorter will apply your branding, cover sheet, and redact chosen candidate details.
Switch between Full Reformat and Preserve Original
You can easily switch between Full Reformat and Preserve Original modes - just select the option from this dropdown menu in the top lefthand corner of your screen. To learn more about Preserve Original mode, click here for further information.
Preserve Original Templates
To use Preserve Original, a custom template(s) will be created for you with all of your branding and any desired cover sheet sections. Using a cover sheet on your template is not required but can be helpful in notating useful information about the candidate at the start of their CV.
Redact Information
Use the Exports Options menu located to right of the preserve original editor to select the format of the download as well as redacting information.
From the menu, you can choose exactly which details you want to be removed from the candidate's resume, including name, phone, email, and other details.
This tool will only remove the piece of information itself and will not include padding around the text such as punctuation, or words like "phone" etc.
Toggle the Split-Screen view
In Preserve Original mode, you can still opt to toggle the split screen mode as available in Full Reformat. This allows you to quickly make reference to the original CV - especially useful if filling in cover sheet fields.
Just use the Side by side view button to toggle it on and off.
Full Reformat
Switch between Full Reformat and Preserve Original
You can easily switch between Full Reformat and Preserve Original modes - just select the option from this dropdown menu in the top lefthand corner of your screen. To learn more about Full Reformat mode, click here.
