Before you start troubleshooting, check the Bullhorn status page.
Bullhorn publishes updates about current incidents, scheduled or emergency maintenance, affected systems, and affected clusters. If Bullhorn is having an outage or maintenance period, the Allsorter integration may not work as expected until Bullhorn resolves the issue.
If the Bullhorn status page shows an active issue, wait until the incident is resolved before continuing with detailed troubleshooting.

Basic Troubleshooting
IAllsorter will not load through Bullhorn
Use this section if you can access Bullhorn and select Allsorter from the candidate record, but Allsorter remains on a loading screen or does not finish opening.
Step 1: Try a private or incognito window
- Open a private or incognito browser window.
- Log into Bullhorn.
- Open a candidate record.
- Launch Allsorter.
If Allsorter works in the private window, something stored or running in your normal browser session may be interfering with access.
Continue to Step 2.
Step 2: Refresh your browser session
- Log out of Bullhorn.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies.
- Close the browser completely.
- Reopen the browser.
- Log back into Bullhorn.
- Open the candidate record and try Allsorter again.
Step 3: Try another browser
Try opening Bullhorn and Allsorter in another supported browser, such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
If Allsorter works there, return to your original browser and temporarily disable browser extensions before testing again.
Step 4: Check another user or device
If possible, ask another Bullhorn user to open Allsorter from their device.
If only one user or device is affected, the issue may be specific to that user's browser, device or Bullhorn access.
If multiple users are affected, continue below.
If multiple Bullhorn users are affected
Check the Bullhorn status page to see whether Bullhorn is reporting an incident, maintenance period or disruption affecting your service.
If Bullhorn reports an active issue that affects your environment, wait until Bullhorn confirms that the incident has been resolved before repeating detailed troubleshooting.
If Bullhorn reports no incident and multiple users still cannot load Allsorter:
- take a screenshot or screen recording;
- record when the issue started;
- record your time zone;
- confirm approximately how many users are affected; and
- use the Allsorter Help Centre chatbot to report that this is affecting multiple Bullhorn users or fill out the support form and include the following details:
- Whether Allsorter worked in a private/incognito window.
- The browser being used.
- Whether another browser was tested.
- Whether another user is affected.
- Whether another device was tested.
- A screenshot or screen recording showing where Allsorter stops.
- The approximate date and time of the failure.
- Your time zone.
-
- The browser you are using
- A screenshot of the issue or error message with a visible timestamp
- Confirmation that the Bullhorn Status page has not identified any active issues
The Allsorter tab is missing in Bullhorn
Use this section if Bullhorn loads normally but you cannot find the Allsorter tab in a candidate record.
If only one user cannot see Allsorter
First:
- Open a candidate record.
- Check the main ribbon for Allsorter.
- If it is not visible, check the More dropdown. In Bullhorn environments with several ribbon options, Allsorter may appear there.
- Ask your Bullhorn administrator to confirm that your Bullhorn user type has access to the Allsorter custom tab.
- Confirm that you have permission to access the relevant candidate records.
If other users with the same Bullhorn access can see Allsorter but you cannot, ask your Bullhorn administrator to compare your Bullhorn user type and permissions with a working user.
If nobody can see Allsorter
If the Allsorter tab has disappeared for all users:
- Ask your Bullhorn administrator to confirm that the Allsorter integration is still configured.
- Check the Candidate layout settings and confirm that the Allsorter custom tab is enabled for the Candidate entity.
- Confirm that the Allsorter tab has been enabled for the required Bullhorn user types.
- Check whether Allsorter appears under the More dropdown.
- If the Allsorter custom tab is no longer available in the Bullhorn configuration, contact Bullhorn Support and ask them to review the Allsorter custom tab/integration configuration for your account.
The Allsorter tab requires the correct URL, user visibility and tab configuration in Bullhorn. If the configuration has been removed or changed, it may need to be corrected by your Bullhorn administrator or Bullhorn Support.

Cannot find the Add User button
If your account is connected to an ATS, you may not see an Add User button inside Allsorter.
This is expected. ATS-integrated accounts cannot add users directly from the organization user table within Allsorter.
For ATS-integrated accounts, users are usually added when they access Allsorter through the ATS for the first time. This allows Allsorter to create the user based on their ATS access and permissions.
If a user cannot access Allsorter through the ATS, check that:
- The user has access to the correct ATS account.
- The user has permission to open candidate records.
- The user is opening Allsorter from the correct candidate profile or action menu.
- The user is enabled in Allsorter, if it is a returning user.
Important: Do not try to add ATS-integrated users manually from Allsorter. If the user still cannot access Allsorter after checking the above, fill out the support form.
Org admins and managers for ATS-integrated accounts will not see an "Add User" button in the settings section of Allsorter since users get automatically provisioned through
