# What if my invoice does not show a VAT line?

### How VAT is handled on Allsorter invoices

Unless otherwise stated, Allsorter fees are charged exclusive of applicable taxes.

Under Allsorter’s [Master Subscription Agreement](https://allsorter.com/terms-and-conditions), customers are responsible for any applicable taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities in their jurisdiction, excluding only taxes based on Allsorter’s income.

This means that, in most cases, Allsorter does not add VAT or GST as a line item on customer invoices.

### Irish customers

As Allsorter is headquartered in Ireland, Irish customers will see VAT charged on their invoices as a separate line item.

If your invoice does not include a VAT line item, please get in touch with our Customer Success team. 

### Can I request VAT or tax documentation?

Yes. If you need tax documentation for a particular billing period, please contact Allsorter Customer Success. Please note that non-Irish customers will receive a report stating that no VAT or GST was charged for the period in question.
