Getting Started With Allsorter Nexus

Learn how to set up your Nexus workspace by adding a company and creating your first job.

Nexus is a recruiting workspace within Allsorter. It brings together the companies you recruit for, the jobs you are hiring for, and the candidates and chats connected to each job, all in one place. This article explains how to set up your Nexus workspace by adding a company and creating your first job.

The Nexus Dashboard gives you an overview of your recruiting activity, including your companies, active jobs, candidates, active chats, and a pipeline showing how many jobs are at each stage (Open, Sourcing, Shortlisting, Interviewing, Closed).

Setting up your workspace in Nexus involves two main steps:

  1. Create a company to represent the client or employer you are hiring for.
  2. Create a job within that company to start sourcing candidates.

Understanding Companies and Jobs in Nexus

Before creating anything in Nexus, it is useful to understand these two building blocks.

What is a company?

A company in Nexus represents the employer you are hiring for. This could be a client you recruit on behalf of, or your own organization.

What is a job?

A job represents a specific role you are hiring for within a company. Each job has its own candidate pool, which is shared across every chat opened inside that job.

How to Create a Company

  1. From the Nexus Dashboard, select + New company in the top-right corner.nexus-02-what-is-a-company-1
  2. In the Create a Company window, complete the following fields:
    1. Company logo (optional): Select the upload area to add a PNG, JPG, or SVG file. This logo is used on the dashboard, sidebar, and shared portals. If you do not upload a logo, Nexus generates a branded monogram from the company name and the brand colour you select.
    2. Company name (required): This is the only field that must be completed to create a company.
    3. Industry (optional).
    4. Location (optional).
    5. Website (optional).
    6. Brand colour: Select one of the provided colour swatches. This colour is used in the generated monogram and on the company card.nexus-03-create-a-company-form-1
  3. A preview of the company card updates automatically as you complete the form.
  4. Once you have entered at least a company name, select Create company.

Company name is the only required field. All other fields can be added later.

The new company appears in the Companies section of your dashboard, with its own job and candidate counters. From here, you can add a job to the company directly from its company card, or by using the New job button described below.
